Peruvian Banshee lineage is highly regarded, starting with her sire -
SA 5Peruvian Silverado (One of Stachowski Alpacas top herdsires) a
champion that produces award winning progeny, her Dam SA Peruvian
Forever Amber a Blue Ribbon winner who never finished out of the top
three in any show entered. Her grandfather the legendary victorious
6Peruvian Alfonso and her grandmother 6Peruvian Bay Desiray known for
her maintaining and passing on a very low micron count.
Last year Banshee was bred to SA Peruvian Volcano’s, the highest
selling male ($200,000) at Stachowski Alpacas auction in 2003. The
breeding produced an exclusively marked Dark Rose Grey female, ZU
Peruvian Kamora, with perfect conformation and super soft bundling
bold crimpy fleece. Kamora will be entered in the shows for 2008 at
the VA Classic, MaPACA, and PAOBA. She is truly a one-of-a-kind with
her special color markings!
This year we bred Banshee to Silvercloud Farm’s Mint Cassini. With
Mint Cassini’s lineage, it’s easy to see why he is a Color and
Reserve Color Champion, with numerous Blue Ribbons. The breeding will
bring together some of the best lineages in the country by adding Mint
Cassini’s lineage from Peruvian Microsoft’s Mordecai, Peruvian PCA
Microsoft, Pperuvian Camilio (Son of Don Julio Barreda's Standing
Bear), Peruvian Maple Brook Serina and the one and only 5peruvian
Bueno (winner of 13 “Get of Sires” and top choice of the
importation and sold as the highest selling male ever at the Celebrity
Sale in 1994. He has produced over 100 winning offspring).
It’s easy to understand our excitement about Banshee and Mint
Cassini’s cria due in May 2008.
